Kaylee Maxon ’15 Posted on November 7th, 2014 by

kaylee-maxon-goldcardTell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in rural New Richland, MN, with my mom, dad, and younger brother.  I love hanging out with my friends, playing volleyball or throwing the hammer in track & field, hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening.

Why did you choose Nursing as a major? I chose Nursing because I want to help people.  Nursing is also a stable career with many areas to choose from.

My favorite clinical rotation so far has been in Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis working on the renal and oncology floors.

After graduation, I plan on getting a job in a hospital in southern Minnesota.  After getting a few years of experience, I might go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthetist.
