Tell us a little bit about yourself: I’m from Apple Valley, Minnesota. I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, and playing rugby.
Why did you choose Nursing as a major? I chose nursing because I want to remove pain and fear from people’s lives.
My favorite clinical rotation was at Children’s. Kids do amazing things. My patients were stronger than I ever expected them to be. Their determination to beat or control their conditions inspired me as i worked with them.
I plan on working with pediatric patients with special needs. I want to continue on to get an advanced nursing degree in pediatrics or anesthesia.
