Senior OB Postpartum Hemorrhage Simulation Lab

Today the seniors learned about the nursing interventions affiliated with a postpartum hemorrhage through a simulation created by clinical faculty preceptor Tina Kvalheim and Professor Barb Zust. There was Hawaiian Punch for blood, red jello for blood clots, and all the equipment needed in a real hospital setting… Except for a real patient of course!

Junior Brittany Luethmers makes it to NCAA Volleyball Quarterfinals

Congratulations to Brittany Luethmers ’19 and the rest of the Gustavus Volleyball Team for winning their regional conference and moving on to the ‘Elite 8’ in the NCAA quarterfinals this week! This was their first region championship in program history and the first time since 1984 the team made it to the “Elite 8”.
