Lynnea Myers recently received the Mansergh-Stuessy Fund Award for College Innovation ($3,000) to support expanded research opportunities and research curriculum for the Gustavus Adolphus College Summer Institute of Nursing. Myers just completed two one-hour webinars for the Minnesota Departments of Health and Education on the following topics: “Screening at Three” and “Communicating Screening Results with Parents.”

Heidi Meyer had her article “Out of the SimLab and into the classroom: Using high-fidelity simulation as an active classroom teaching strategy” accepted for publication in the journal Nursing Education Perspectives.

Barbara Zust presented “Shackled for birth while heckled by guards” at the Advancing Excellence in Gender, Sex and Health Research International Conference in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Oct. 29-31.
